Harrira
- Sauté chopped onions, garlic and celery in butter till softened.
- Add chopped ginger, ground cinnamon and black pepper and sauté till fragrant.
- Add some lamb bits into the pot and cook till browned.
- Add a tin of chopped tomatoes and tinned chickpeas.
- Add in water, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer covered.
- Make a cornflour solution and add to stew to thicken.
- Stir in chopped coriander and some lemon juice prior to serving in nice, warm bowls.
