Chicken Korma – The Healthy Version

There have been many a time where OtherHalf is yearning for a curry or korma when his wife is on strict protocol of healthy eating. So, today, I took pity and whipped up a healthy chicken korma. Well, husbands don’t need to know what exactly what goes into the pot in order to make it a healthy version. All he knows is that it is yums and tastes exactly like what he wants.

Healthy Chicken Korma

1. Blend together onions, garlic, ginger, a big tomato and a generous helping of korma curry powder.
2. Heat up a wok and sauté the blended mix in a bit of oil – I used virgin coconut oil – until it smells heavenly fragrant.
3. Add in your chicken pieces together with a cup of water and let simmer till thickened.
4. Separately boil a potatoes and set aside.
5. Season your dish well with salt.
6. Finish off with a smattering of daun sup (spring onions) and finely slices celery stalk

For OtherHalf’s meal, I served the korma with nasi minyak.

In my case, it was with a side salad.

So there you go, luxurious, healthy eating.
